How to post a comment

We need you to comment!

Comments are the heart and soul of our site, so please post your thoughts.

If you need help figuring out how to comment, don't give up. Here are some step by step instructions to help.

At the bottom right of each post or image, click the comment link. This will take you to another webpage. Type your comment in the blue box. All of this is pretty straightforward -- where it gets a little tricky is how to choose an identity.

If you have a Google/Blogger account, you probably already know what you're doing. Just enter your user name and password and type in the word verification.

Same goes if you have an OpenID account.

Or you can just use your name and/or website by selecting "Name/URL." Please do not enter your email address here or you will likely be spammed!

And finally, you can be anonymous by selecting "Anonymous."

There is one last step in order for your post to go through. There is a series of random letters above a "word verification" box. You'll need to type those letter into that box. (This is technically called Captcha in case you're curious.) Sometimes the letters are difficult to read but don't worry, you won't lose your comment if you accidently type the incorrect letters. Blogger will just refresh the page and you'll have another chance to type a different series of letters.

Comments are moderated, which means that your comment may not show up right away on the blog. We'll enable your comment as quickly as we can. We're moderating comments primarily to avoid comment spam, which can get pretty crazy. We want to promote discussion; however, we reserve the right to delete abusive or libelous comments.

If you have any other problems or questions about posting a comment, please send us an email at lifeatnsc AT mac DOT com.

Hi Juliette and Chip!

I really like this blog. I love the picture of your grey kitty. I have a long haired grey kitty that is fat and her name is
Misty Moon Eyes. She is really spoiled rotten. I bet she would like your kitty.

Thanks for the info about the Farmers Market. I really miss the Travis County FM from days gone by. I got into canning and making jelly and everything when it was there. I used to spend Sat morning there every week. I bought plants there right up until they closed. Don't know what it is about that spot that the right person can't make a go of it...but maybe this will take off.

Now I am going to see if it will let me post here.
